Book Deliveries at Category Is

We do lots of home deliveries of queer books, comics and zines. We ship worldwide!

To order, please send us an email with ‘BOOK ORDER’ in the title and a list of what you would like with your delivery address to 💌 categoryisbooks@gmail.com 💌

We process book delivery orders once a week (on a Wednesday) with books generally arriving in 2-5 working days afterwards. If you need something speedier than this then please order via our bookshop.org page.

We send you a link to pay for your books via card online. UK postage is £2.10 or £3.20 depending on the weight of the parcel.

The pay-it-forward shelf can also be used for home delivery! Just let us know which book you’d like to order, the delivery address and use ‘BOOKCODE: SOLIDARITY’ somewhere in the email. You will then be sent your book free of charge.

We really love book suggesting! If you are not sure what you would like to read, just send us a general idea of the sort of thing you like reading or are looking for and we can help. Sometimes it takes us a few weeks to reply to recommendation emails due to the time and care that we take with them. If you need these quickly then please come into the shop.

We also do bespoke monthly book and/or comic subscriptions for people. Again, just send us an email to find out more.

And yes, we do gift vouchers! These can be physical or digital, just email with the amount you would like. We also accept National Book Tokens.
